AverVision 110 Object Camera Instructions
- Log in to the instructor's computer workstation and power on the projector
- RGB1 (computer) input setting should be established by default
- Otherwise, select this setting via the projector remote control
- Turn the camera on using the gray power button on the base (detail)
- The LED indicator on the base will turn green when the unit is on
- Place an object or document below the lens
To project the image, you must use the ATI camera software:
- Double click the Camera Player (TV) icon on the desktop to launch the camera software.
- The ATI camera software will open with the document/object displayed
- Maximize to full screen by clicking the icon on the upper right corner of the screen
- Hit Esc to return to the regular desktop view
- Right click on the controller for menu options
- Choose Hide Controls to make the controller disappear
- Right click on the screen and choose Show Controls to get it back
- Use the F2 key to toggle the controls on/off
Using the light and document positioning laser pointers:
- When the camera is on, the light/laser positioning unit is powered as well
- Move the switch on the hood unit to toggle between settings
To zoom, focus, or orient:
- The camera arm is flexible; use the gooseneck to raise or lower (zoom)
- Fine tune the focus by using the white control located on the camera lens hood
- Orient object view by rotating the object, or by rotating the hood of the camera
To capture a still image:
- Click the camera icon on the controller
- The image is saved temporarily to the computer's clipboard
- Open PowerPoint, Word, or a photo editing application
- Use the Edit menu to choose Paste
- Use the File menu to choose to save this file
