Connect with a Mac on the SLU Network
Connect your network cable at both ends (at the data drop and computer) and turn on the computer before you:
Connect to myslu (P: drive) from OS X
- Click on the Desktop to switch to the Finder
- Click on the Go menu
- In the space next to Address, type smb://myslu
- Enter your username and password
- Click OK at the next dialog box to mount the volume on the desktop
- The icon will have the same name as your login ID
- Double-click the icon to find the folder you wish to access
- Create an alias for easier access to myslu
- Log out of the server by dragging the server icon to the trash
- Log back in by double-clicking the alias you created
Connect to ourslu (S: and T: drives) from OS X 
- Click on the Desktop to switch to the Finder
- Click on the Go menu
- Select Connect to Server
- In the space next to Address, type smb://ourslu
- Enter your username and password
- Select from the pull-down menu
- Classes for the T drive
- Shared for the S drive
- Click OK at the next dialog box to mount the volume on the desktop
- The icon will be named either Classes or Shared
- Double-click the icon to find the folder you wish to access
- Create an alias for easier access
- Log out of the server by dragging the server icon to the trash
- Log back in by double-clicking the alias you created
Change your network password 
- Click on the Desktop to switch to the Finder
- Click on the Go menu,
- Type ourslu in the server address box
- Click the Connect button
- You should not use the smb:// prefix when changing your password
- Type your network ID in the Name box
- Do not enter your password at this time
- Click Options
- Click Change Password
- Enter your old password, new password and confirm your new password
- Click OK
- Log out of the server by dragging the server icon to the trash
- You may now use your new password to connect to the servers
- This procedure will change the password on both ourslu and myslu
Create an alias to myslu or ourslu 
- Simultaneously hold down both the option and command keys
- The command key has an Apple icon
- Click and drag the icon of the volume or folder to the desktop while continuing to hold these keys
- An alias will be created when you release the mouse button
- The alias can be renamed or moved anywhere on your hard drive
