Quick Solutions for E-Classroom Issues
DVD region error? 
- Make sure the DVD Region Killer icon is green, not red
- If it is red:
- Right-click on the icon
- Select Enable DVD Region Killer
No image displayed?
- CHECK: You should see a blue light in the lens of the data projector
- FIX: Point projector remote control directly at data projector to turn projector on
Still no image?
- CHECK: INPUT source, displayed on the screen
- FIX: Hit
INPUT button on projector remote and select
- RGB1 to display instructor's computer workstation
- VIDEO to display a videotape or CATV
- RGB2 to display a laptop attached externally
No audio?
- Check for correct Input source
- FIX: Select correct Input source
- Check to see if Mute has been selected (will display on screen)
- FIX: Use data projector remote to turn mute off
- Check the volume setting
- FIX: Adjust volume control using data projector remote control
- In some cases, you may also check the sound amplifier switch In most cases, audio equipment has been secured for A-V tech access only.
- On the Alesis sound systems, the green light above the amp switch be illuminated if sound is on
- FIX: Look under the computer monitor, turn on power switch located at the center of the amplifier
Audio noise after projector shutdown?
- If you have shutdown the projector and there is TV audio coming through the classroom speakers, this audio is coming directly from the VCR.
OR
- FIX: Set the VCR
channel to AV/line input channel, leave the VCR on
