Data/Video Projector Remote Control Instructions

1. Power projector on/off

  • Power on by pointing the remote at the projector suspended from the ceiling
  • Shut down requirement:
  • Power off by pointing the remote at the projector:
    • Small silver remote: press and hold the Power button for 1-2 seconds until the images disappears from the screen
    • Gray remote: press and hold the Standby/On (green) button for 1-2 seconds until the image disappears from the screen
    • Black remote: press the Power button and the image will disappear
    • Black remote: press the Standby/On (green) button
      • When prompted to confirm powering off the projector, push the Standby/On (green) button once again

2. Input or RGB/Video

Use the Input button or the RGB and Video buttons to cycle through the three input options. Your current selected option will display on the screen as RGB1, RGB2, or Video. Hit the button repeatedly to cycle through these options until you are viewing the appropriate input:

  • RGB1: desktop computer workstation, including DVD drive
  • RGB2: laptop computer
  • Video: VHS, campus cable TV network, stand alone DVD player
    • For CATV, select the appropriate channel through the tuner buttons on the VCR

3. Volume

  • Increase or decrease volume with the arrow buttons on the remote
  • The audio output will automatically relate to the input source you have chosen
    • There is no need to make a selection for audio source
