Faculty & Staff: Faculty and Staff can utilize any of the copiers located throughout the campus with their SLU ID. The SLU ID has a narrow black stripe on the back that is encoded to work with the copiers. Directions are posted above each machine. If you acquire a new ID, the card must be re-encoded for copying purposes. If your new ID card does not have the narrow black strip on the back, it can not be encoded for use on the copiers.  This does NOT use the campus wide account system. All charges for will be billed directly to your administrative department at the end of the month.

Your ID card may already be encoded to make copies (try it). However, if it is not working, bring your ID card to Office Services (ground floor of Vilas Hall) Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm to have it encoded. 

Students:  Students can utilize any of the copiers located throughout the campus with their SLU ID. The narrow black stripe on the back of your SLU ID will no longer be used with campus copiers.  The larger black stripe will now be used.  There is no longer a need to have your cards encoded at Office Services.  This does NOT use the campus wide account system. All students are given 125 free copies each semester; if exceeded, those copies over 125 will be billed at a cost of 8 cents per page, and will be added to your tuition bill at the end of the semester.
