Phone, Video, and Web Conferencing Options Available on Campus

SPEAKERPHONE
All office phones may be used as a speakerphone to facilitate a conference call

HIGH-QUALITY SPEAKERPHONE
a "spider" speakerphone setup may be requested through Information Technology and used to facilitate a conference call

AUDIO CONFERENCE
access to the university's Conference Bridge may be requested through Information Technology.  The system provides an 800 number and access code that participants may use to join a conference call

VIDEO CONFERENCE
Skype
, or other video conferening applications may be used to connect classrooms or offices to a single remote location.  Skype is available on all university computers.  Should a webcam or assistance with Skype be needed, please request through Information Technology

Microsoft Lync is available on all university computers and can be used for communicating via Internet Message (IM), voice, or video chat.  Lync also allows of the sharing of one's desktop or computer application content. Contact the IT HelpDesk if you would like more information about Lync

WEB CONFERENCE
The university has WebEx web conferencing access available. WebEx allows for the connection of multiple locations sharing audio and video as well as a full set of teaching or collaboration tools -- text chat, desktop sharing, shared whiteboard, video and filesharing, session recording, etc.  If you are interested in using WebEx, please request through Information Technology

HIGH-QUALITY VIDEO CONFERENCE
The university has a Polycom video conferencing system available for use within ODY Library. Please note, this system requires all participating locations to use a compatible IP-based video conferencing system. If you are interested in using this system, please request through Information Technology
