Who are we?

The Information Technology division is the result of restructuring campus technology support in 1998. Various service and support segments partner within the IT division. Reorganized most recently in January of 2006, the division is collaboratively led by a team of three co-CIOs, each of whom also directs a group within the division (i.e. client services, educational technologies, network technologies). Also at that time, our vision crystalized as follows:

Our vision is focused on the mission of St. Lawrence. As the division of Information Technology in one the nation’s leading liberal arts colleges, we strive to build and maintain a technology-rich teaching, learning and research environment that is robust and reliable, a secure infrastructure, and advanced administrative systems. We endeavor to provide superior client services as we enthusiastically collaborate with faculty and staff colleagues towards the ultimate goal of preparing students to be technologically fluent in all of the ways appropriate for a liberally educated person

Where are we?

The main IT office, HelpDesk operations, and most IT staff offices are located on the lower level of the Launders Computing Center in Madill Hall.

Office Services staff are located on the ground floor of Vilas Hall and in the Student Center.

The block buildings behind Brown Hall house the A-V technicans, some computer technicians and network staff.

Repair facilities are located in the block building and in the Launders Computing Center.

When are we open?

When classes are in session:
