E-mail ID and password

You should receive this information from the University prior to the start of the semester.

• Class of 2003 and 2004: FLLLLL## where F is the first letter of the first name, LLLLL is the first 5 letters of the last name, and # is the last two numbers of your student id
  
• Class of 2005 - forward: FMLLLL01 where F is the first letter of the first name, M is the first letter of the second name, and LLLL is the first four letters of the last name and 01 is your year of matriculation
  
  • Non-matriculated students are created with 20 as the last two characters of the email address instead of their year of matriculation
    
• If you do not know your e-mail ID or password, come to the Information Technology office(Madill Hall) in person and inquire of the receptionist
• You must bring your SLU ID!

Change network password

To maintain account security, it is important to change your password as soon as possible after arriving on campus! There are two ways to change your password (on campus only).

• Use the password change form
• Use a SLU workstation
  • Press and hold Ctrl / Alt / Delete on your keyboard
  • From the Windows Security window, choose Change Password
  • In the specified spaces, type your existing password, your new password, and confirm the new password by typing it again
  • Click OK

Forward mail to different account

• https://mymail.stlawu.edu
  • Log into mymail and expand the "Mail" link in the left menu by hitting the plus sign. If already expanded, proceed to the next step.
  • Also in the left menu, hit the "Filters" links right below the "Mail" link.
  • Along the top of the web site you'll see the "Forward" button, click it.
  • Type the email address you would like your email forwarded to in the "Address(es) to forward to" box. You can forward to multiple addresses , but enter each address on a new line. If you chose to keep a copy of messages in this account, please be careful to periodically clean up your account because you may run in to quota issues.
